What is the most effective way to make a donation to NTFB?
Monetary donations provide the greatest benefit to the NTFB mission. When you donate, every dollar NTFB receives can provide three meals.
A virtual food drive is a great way to provide monetary donations. Once this food drive is set up, a link to your personalized online drive will be emailed to the food drive coordinator. The link can then be forwarded to your employees or members so they can conveniently donate by purchasing food items online using a credit card.

Can an NTFB driver pick up my donation?
Yes, we are able to pick up donations weighing more than 250 pounds (roughly 250 cans). If your donation is less than 250 pounds, please drop off your donation off at NTFB or at one of our Food Assistance Partners’ locations.
What should I do if I received cash donations?
Please place your cash donation in an envelope, clearly labeled with the name of your organization and “Attention: Jerrye Hall.” Give the envelope to the NTFB driver who picks up your donation. Checks should be mailed to NTFB using the following address:
Attn: Jerrye Hall
The North Texas Food Bank
4500 S. Cockrell Hill Road, Dallas, TX 75236-2028
How can I make my food drive fun and exciting?
Host a “Food of the Day” drive and have employees bring certain foods for each day of the week. For example, days may be named Macaroni Mondays, Tuna Tuesdays, Wheaties Wednesdays, Turkey Thursdays and Fruity Fridays.
Make various departments responsible for different food groups. Have different departments collect canned meat, canned vegetables, kid-friendly food, breakfast food, beverages, etc.
Fill the bag – provide employees an empty paper sack and ask that the bags be returned full of non-perishable food items.
Host a competition and offer a special prize for the winners, such as extra vacation time, a casual clothing day or a free lunch.
Where is NTFB located?
