In March, savor the flavor of the ninth annual Savor Dallas, the most delicious food and wine festival in Texas. The event features cuisine from more than 60 of the area’s top chefs, plus more than 400 premium wines, spirits and beers throughout the weekend. This celebration of food, wine and spirits will also spotlight an exciting new downtown venue for the Friday night wine stroll.
SATURDAY EVENTS
Our popular Saturday afternoon wine panels will continue with the “Global Pairing of Wine and Cheese” at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek with the Mansion’s Michael Flynn and Rich Rogers from Scardello Artisan Cheese. The event will feature ultra-premium wines and spirits from 5 to 6:30 P.M., when the Savor Dallas Lone Star Awards will be presented. The event will benefit the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food.
INTERNATIONAL GRAND TASTING
The “International Grand Tasting” is the gourmet highlight of the Savor Dallas Weekend, and showcases a sampling of signature cuisine from more than 60 of Dallas/Fort Worth’s top chefs along with hundreds of premium wines, spirits and beers. The event is 7-10 P.M. at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas. Kroger presents Savor Dallas. Premium sponsors for this year's event include Louis M. Martini Winery, AND Stella Artois. All proceeds from the fine wine silent auction held during the International Grand Tasting will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank. Savor Dallas will donate $15 from each ticket to the International Grand Tasting sold online at www.SavorDallas.com when you use the special promo code ntfb13.
Ticket prices for the individual events range from $35 to $125. Weekend passes also are available at an overall cost saving. Valet Parking is $10 per car at the Perot Museum on March 15 . Parking for March 16 is $8 self-parking in the Irving Convention Center Garage or valet parking for $15. Additional events will be added to the schedule soon.
