Souper Bowl of Caring

Inspired by this prayer, “Lord, even as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us be mindful of those that do not have a bowl of soup to eat,” The Souper Bowl of Caring is a national movement of young people working together around Super Bowl-time to fight hunger and poverty in their communities. In 2013, 354 groups in North Texas collected $1,183,126 in cash and food. A portion benefitted the North Texas Food Bank and more than 100 local hunger-relief agencies across North Texas.
