Stampede Against Hunger

Stampede Against Hunger is a partnership between Southern Methodist University and the North Texas Food Bank. The program creates an innovative model in our community—a major food bank aligned with a major university. Both organizations are building a deep, lasting relationship. This partnership means that campus groups that already support NTFB will be better recognized, communications with them will be improved, and new types of participation will be encouraged. Our vision is that any SMU student, faculty member, alumnus, or staff member will be able to find an opportunity to support NTFB. If these advocates can get the word out about the issue of hunger through SMU's website, physical signage, NTFB involvement in campus events, or by simply wearing a t-shirt, this partnership will empower the entire SMU community to take action.
